Design: P. salmonis LF-89 cultures grown in CMMAB broth until reaching OD600=0.6. 2 mL of bacterial culture were collected by centrifugation and total RNA was purified using RNeasy kit (Qiagen). 20 g RNA were sent to Novogene (USA) for library preparation and Illumina sequencing. Libraries were prepared and sequenced by Novogen Bioinformatics Technology Co., Ltd. (Beijing, China). The libraries were generated using TruSeq Stranded Total RNA Library Prep (Illumina), and RiboZero Magnetic Kit (Illumina) to remove rRNAs. The sizes of inserts selected for amplification were 250 ~ 300 bp.
